Back at home

We returned from our cruise yesterday. The trip was a lot of fun. We rented a Jeep in Cozumel and cruised all around the island. We ate lunch at a little restaurant/bar on a cliff overlooking the ocean. That was nice, except for the Mexican guy who kept asking me to take off my shirt for a picture. Um, no thank you. They actually have photo albums proving that a lot of women had no problem with it, however. Apparently this is common at beach bars in Cozumel because we saw similar pictures in at least one other place.

Captain Chaos was a big hit on the ship. By the end of the cruise, I think everyone knew him. This child is not shy at all. He'll run up to anyone and say "HI!", and he's not quiet about it. He would walk around the hot tub high-fiving the people in it. He danced every time he heard music. Everywhere we went, other passengers were yelling "Hi CC!"

Even though it was nice to have a vacation, it's good to be back home..........except for the pile of laundry I have to do.

Vacation

The only down side of vacation is having to pack for three people. My husband gets to just show up, get in the truck, and go......never stopping to think that it's taken me days to get ready! We don't leave until Thursday, but I've already started packing and making dog-sitting and business arrangements.
