I can't think of one reason to vote for Barack Obama. He's an empty suit, at best. At worst, well.........just watch this video.

If you don't think there is anything wrong with this, you are not human. If you are a mother and you plan to vote for Obama, you make me sick.

This is kind of long, but it scared the hell out of me.

Well, I should blog about SOMETHING

Several people have emailed me and mentioned that I haven't been blogging. And I can tell by my feed that a lot of people have been here to look for something from me. Imagine that.

I guess I haven't had anything to complain about lately. Well, nothing that I want to share with the world.

So let me just bitch about the fact that border patrol agents Ramos and Compean continue to rot in jail for doing their jobs, and that a federal appeals court upheld their sentences this week. And the fact that the government has refused to comply with the Freedom of Information Act request for documents detailing the agreement between the US and Mexico which allowed drug smuggler Aldrete-Davila to return to this country and testify against the agents! And the fact that this smuggler was given immunity from prosecution and free medical care at an Army hospital. And the fact that some people, including our president, are in favor of giving Mexico millions, make that over a BILLION dollars, with the hope that it will be used in the war on drug cartels. (Merida Initiative. Look it up.)

Why won't Bush pardon the agents? And why does he want to give tax-payers money to that country? What is going on?

And some people will vote for a man for president just because he gives pretty speeches and he's the right color.

Yes, all of this really pisses me off.

Lawyers.....always looking out for us

I have a mutual fund with an investment company that has recently settled in a class action lawsuit of which I was completely unaware.

I am entitled to the whopping sum of $20.22.

Credit vouchers are being issued. Three yearly vouchers of just under $7.00 each!

So I don't really get to see this windfall. I get to apply it to fees I would be charged by the investment company. And again, I can't apply it all at once. I can only use one voucher per year for the next 3 years. $6.74 for the first two years, and $6.75 the last.

The time it would take me to call and figure out how to have the credit applied is worth more to me than $6.74.

But at least the attorneys are richer.
